Two Reviews and A New Release

I feel like I’m just bursting at the seams.

First, I found two great reviews.

One is for Tinsel Time, part of the 12 Days of Christmas at Cobblestone Press.

From Dark Divas Reviews ~

Tinsel Time
By Ericka Scott

What intrigued me at first had to be the cover, a snowy scene with a beautiful enchantress on the cover, and an angelic winter wonderland in the background. Then, one notices the blood splattered knife in the right hand corner. Trust me, this is no ordinary Christmas story. As it reads in the synopsis there is some thrill and chills to be had in this book. And the story doesn’t disappoint.

The other review was for Fool’s Gold, my most recent Cobblestone Press release.

Nymphs Rating: 4 Nymphs
Literary Nymphs Reviewer: Mystical Nymph

I love it when an author has the courage to make a hero or heroine physically imperfect, and in Fools Gold, Ms. Scott handles this sensitive subject very tastefully while at the same time showing that Rae has the same wants and desires as any woman. Just because Rae was injured and subsequently disabled, it doesn’t make her incapable of having a fulfilling romantic relationship or unattractive to members of the opposite sex. It just makes her different, and seeing Mica again is just what she needs to realize she’s still desirable. And boy, does this man want her…in any position and on any surface. He’s fantasized about her for years, so when they finally get together the only word adequate to describe them is sizzling.

And last but not least!

To Catch a Casanova is on sale today at Total E-bound!

Aspiring actor, Luke McArthur, has been in love with Aubrey O’Fallon since the first grade. They even dated for a while. Still best friends, Luke always figured he’d get around to proposing to her when he finally made it big. Unfortunately, Aubrey met ultra-rich Troy Fletcher. To everyone’s surprise, he proposed on the first date and she accepted!

But Troy has a secret life – he’s been seen picking up prostitutes outside The Sand Dollar where Luke works. Luke knows Aubrey won’t believe his accusations unless he can prove them. With only four days to stop the wedding, he’s desperate. He enlists the help of his transvestite friend, Charles/Cherie, and plans to have Aubrey catch Troy in a compromising situation.

But, it’s soon clear Luke is in over his head…

Yowza, what a cover!

As you all know, The Werewolf Whisperer found a new home with Phaze. It’s slated for a late summer release and I just received the cover art.

Now, I’m going to talk a little about the least favorite of my tasks when a book gets accepted. The art form.

I’ll be honest to say that I know what I like and what I don’t…but I haven’t a clue what I really want the cover of the book to look like. And in my experience, my initial concept so seldom matches what the artist sends that I almost feel like it’s a waste of time for me to even fill it out. And in almost every case, the artist has just blown me away with the cover.

Like this one did! It’s designed by Stella Price and I think it’s just…WOW.

Don’t you agree?
